Sidlaghatta : ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯೊಬ್ಬರು ನೀಡಿದ ದೂರಿನ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಭಾರ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ವಸತಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಸಂಘದ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು ಅಮಾನತುಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸೆ.26ರಂದು ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಕೊಠಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಭಾರ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ಅಸಮರ್ಪಕವಾಗಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ ದಿಬ್ಬೂರಹಳ್ಳಿ ಠಾಣೆಗೆ ದೂರು ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಸೆ.28ರಂದು POCSO ಕಾಯ್ದೆಯಡಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ (ನಂ.139/2026) ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಪಂಗಡಗಳ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿ, ಕಾನೂನು ರೀತ್ಯಾ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ವರದಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಸೇವಾ (ವರ್ಗೀಕರಣ, ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಮೇಲ್ಮನವಿ) ನಿಯಮಾವಳಿ–1957ರ ನಿಯಮ 10(1)(ಡಿ) ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ನಿಯಮಗಳಡಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಮಾನತುಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಅಮಾನತು ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ಷಮ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಅನುಮತಿ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಬಿಡಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಆದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ಕುರಿತು ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಆರೋಪಗಳ ಸತ್ಯಾಸತ್ಯತೆ ತನಿಖೆಯಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವಾಗಬೇಕಿದೆ.

In English: The in-charge principal of a residential school in Sidlaghatta taluk has been suspended by the executive director of the Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society following a complaint by a student. The student had complained at the Dibburahalli police station that the in-charge principal touched her improperly in the school’s first-aid room on September 26, and a case was registered under the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act on September 28 (case no. 139/2026). After the Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department and other officials reviewed the matter and recommended legal action, he was suspended under Rule 10(1)(d) of the Karnataka Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1957, and told not to leave the headquarters without permission.
