Version 2026-10. These replace the earlier terms and add rules for what readers send us.

Using the site

The site is free to read. You may share links to our stories. Do not copy our stories, photos or rate tables in bulk, or republish them without asking us first.

What you send us

You can send news, photos, events and notices through WhatsApp, Telegram or the forms on this site. When you do:

• You confirm that you took the photo or have permission to share it, and that what you wrote is true to the best of your knowledge.
• You give us a free, non-exclusive right to edit, publish and share it on our site and our own channels (Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp). You keep ownership.
• We review everything before it is published. We may edit, shorten or refuse any submission, and we do not have to give a reason.
• We name you only if you agreed to it.

What not to send

Do not send anything that is false or misleading, defames or targets a person or group, promotes hatred between communities, invades someone’s privacy (including photos of private people, children or accident victims without permission), is obscene, infringes someone’s copyright, or breaks any law.

Your account

Signing in with Google is optional. You must be 18 or older to create an account. You can delete your account at any time from the account menu. We may remove accounts that break these terms.

Our responsibility

We work to keep the site accurate, but we give no guarantee that news, rates, weather or events are complete or current. See the Disclaimer. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss from using the site or from content sent in by readers.

Complaints and removal

If something on the site is wrong, harms you, or belongs to you, write to us through the Contact page with the link and what is wrong. We acknowledge within 24 hours and reply within 15 days, and we remove content that shows private images of a person without consent within 24 hours.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the version date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of India and the courts located in Chikkaballapur, Karnataka.
