Sidlaghatta : ವಿಶ್ವ ಮಹಿಳಾ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ನಗರದ ನೆಹರು ಕ್ರೀಡಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬುಧವಾರ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕು ಮಟ್ಟದ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಗರದ ಶ್ರೀ ವಾಸವಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರು ಪ್ರಥಮ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದು ಟ್ರೋಫಿ ಯನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮದಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಟಿಪಿಒ ದೇವೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರು ವಿಜೇತರಾದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಪಾರಿತೋಷಕ ವಿತರಿಸಿದರು.
ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕು ಪಂಚಾಯತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಾಣಧಿಕಾರಿ ಮುನಿರಾಜ, ವಾಸವಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯ ಸಿ.ಕೆ. ರವಿ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ರೂಪಸಿ ರಮೇಶ್ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.
Vasavi School Students Win Taluk Level Women’s Cricket Tournament
Sidlaghatta : On Wednesday, as part of International Women’s Day celebrations, a taluk level women’s cricket tournament was held at Nehru Stadium in the Sidlaghatta town. The students of Shree Vasavi Vidya Samsthe (Vasavi School) emerged as the winners of the tournament and were awarded the trophy. The program was organized by TPO Devendra, the Sports Officer of the Education Department, who also distributed the prizes to the winning children.
Several dignitaries were present at the event, including Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer Muniraja, physical education teacher from Vasavi School and middle school principal C.K. Ravi, and Rupasi Ramesh, the secretary of the educational institution.
