Jangamakote, Sidlaghatta : ಶಿಡ್ಲಘಟ್ಟ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಪುರಾಣ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಜಂಗಮಕೋಟೆಯ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನ ಗಂಗಾಧರೇಶ್ವರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮರಥೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಗುರುವಾರ ವಿಜೃಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ತೇರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ಸವ ಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನಿರಿಸಿ, ವಿವಿಧ ಹೂಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮರಥೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳಿಂದ ಭಕ್ತರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ರಥ ಸಾಗಿದಾಗಿ ಜನಜಂಗುಳಿ ಏರ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು. ಪುರಾತನ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನ ಗಂಗಾಧರೇಶ್ವರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಅಲಂಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಪೂಜೆಯ ನಂತರ ಪ್ರಸಾದವನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದ ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ಮಜ್ಜಿಗೆ, ಪಾನಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಹೆಸರುಬೇಳೆಯನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಿದರು. ಪದ್ಮಶಾಲಿ ಸೇವಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ರವರಿಂದ ಪಾನಕೋತ್ಸವ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳಿಂದ ಬರುವ ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ದೇವಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರೆ ಸಂಘ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಂದ ಅನ್ನ ಸಂತರ್ಪಣೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ಬಾಂಧವರು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಮಜ್ಜಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ನೀರು ಪಾಕೆಟ್ ಗಳ ವಿತರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ವಿಶೇಷ ವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವೀರಗಾಸೆ, ಕರಡಿ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳ ಹಾಗೂ ನಾಸಿಕ್ ಡೋಲ್ ವಿಶೇಷ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಗಾರ್ಡಿ ಗೊಂಬೆ, ಕೀಲು ಕುದುರೆ ಮುಂತಾದ ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಕಲೆಯು ಕೂಡ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವು.

ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಮಕುಂಡವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ, ಲೋಕ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಪೂಜಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು ಪ್ರಸನ್ನ ಗಂಗಾಧರೇಶ್ವರಸ್ವಾಮಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಹೂವಿನ ಅಲಂಕಾರಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪೂಜೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು, ನೆರೆದಿದ್ದ ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳು ರಥಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಳೇಹಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ದವನವನ್ನು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಸಿ ರಥಕ್ಕೆ ಎಸೆಯುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ತಮ್ಮ ಇಷ್ಟಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವಂತೆ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದರು.

Prasanna Gangadhareshwar Swamy’s Brahmarathotsavam Celebrated with Grandeur in Jangamakote

Jangamakote, Sidlaghatta : The Brahmarathotsavam of Prasanna Gangadhareshwar Swamy in the mythological Jangamkote of Sidlaghatta taluk was celebrated with great splendor on Thursday. The festival involved placing Utsava idols in a theri and adorning it with various flowers.

Devotees from neighboring villages flocked to the temple, causing a stir in the village as the chariot of God passed through. The Puratana Prasanna Gangadhareshwar Swamy temple’s deity was specially decorated, and prasada was distributed after the puja.

The event organizers provided buttermilk, panaka, and hesarubele to the devotees who came to the village. The Padmashali Service Development Trust organized the Panakotsava, while the temple and other organizations arranged food offerings for devotees from different villages. It was heartening to see Muslim brothers distributing buttermilk and water pockets to everyone.

The procession featured special attractions such as Veeragase, Karadi Sammela, and Nashik Dole. Fascinating local arts, including Gardi Gombe and Keelu Kudre, were also part of the parade.

In the temple premises, a homakunda was performed, and various puja programs were organized for public welfare. Special floral decorations were used to offer pujas to Prasanna Gangadhareswaraswamy. The gathered devotees threw davana at the chariot, praying to God to fulfill their wishes.
