Sidlaghatta : ಮುಂದಿನ ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಮತದಾನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮತದಾರರು ಯಾವುದೆ ಆಸೆ ಆಮಿಷಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗದೆ ನಿರ್ಭಯವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮಷ್ಟದಂತೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗೆ ಮತ ನೀಡಿ ಎಂದು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಕಾರಿ ನಾಗರಾಜ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ನಗರದ ಕೋಟೆ ವೃತ್ತದ ಬಿಇಒ ಕಚೇರಿಯ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಮವಾರ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ಮತದಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತದಾನದ ಪಾವಿತ್ರ್ಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಡೆದ ಸಂವಾದದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಮತದಾರರು ಹಣಬಲ ತೋಳ್ಬಲ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಯಾವುದೆ ಬೆದರಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆದರುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾವುದೆ ಅಡ್ಡಿ ಆತಂಕವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಶಾಂತಿಯುತವಾಗಿ ಮತದಾನ ಮಾಡಲು ಎಲ್ಲ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾದ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಯಾರಿಗೇ ಆಗಲಿ ಮುಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಮತದಾನ ಮಾಡಲು ಆಗದಂತ ಸಂದರ್ಭ ಎದುರಾದರೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಥವಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಯೋಜಿತ ಅದಿಕಾರಿ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯನ್ನು ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
80 ವರ್ಷ ಹಾಗೂ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಹಿರಿಯ ಮತದಾರರಿಗೆ, ದಿವ್ಯಾಂಗರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕೋವಿಡ್-19 ಬಾತರಿಗೆ ಮತಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಮತಚಲಾವಣೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲವೋ ಅಂತಹವರು ನಮೂನೆ 12ಡಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರೆ ಅಂತಹವರ ಮನೆಗೆ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಸಂವಿಧಾನಬದ್ದವಾಗಿ ಗೌಪ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಮತದಾನ ಪಡೆಯಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದರು.
ತಹಸೀಲ್ದಾರ್ ಬಿ.ಎನ್.ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಮತದಾನದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮತದಾರರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾವಿ ಬೋಸಿದರು. ಎಸ್ಪಿ ಡಿ.ಎಲ್.ನಾಗೇಶ್, ಚುನಾವಣಾಡಿಕಾರಿ ಜಾವೀದ ಖಾನಂ, ನಗರಸಭೆಯ ಪೌರಾಯುಕ್ತ ಆರ್.ಶ್ರೀಕಾಂತ್, ಬಿಇಒ ನರೇಂದ್ರಕುಮಾರ್ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.
DC Urges Voters to Cast Their Ballots Without Temptation
Sidlaghatta : Deputy Commissioner Nagaraj urged voters to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming assembly elections without any pressure or temptation. He emphasised the importance of maintaining the sanctity of the voting process and spoke about the responsibility of every citizen to cast their vote.
Addressing a voter awareness program at the BEO office in Kote circle, Nagaraj assured voters that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure a peaceful and secure voting experience, free from any kind of threat including money and arm power.
He also urged voters to contact him or the assigned election officials if they face any difficulty in casting their vote freely. Additionally, he announced that elderly voters above 80 years of age, the disabled, and those suffering from Covid-19 can apply in Form 12D to have election staff come to their homes and facilitate confidential voting in accordance with the constitution.
Tehsildar B. N. Swami, SP D. L. Nagesh, Returning Officer Javeeda Khanam, Municipal Commissioner R. Srikanth, and BEO Narendra Kumar were among the officials present at the event who also assured voters of a fair and transparent voting process.
