Sidlaghatta ಶಿಡ್ಲಘಟ್ಟ: ಆಷಾಢ ಮಾಸದ ಕೊನೆಯ ಮಂಗಳವಾರದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ನಗರದ ಸಿದ್ಧಾರ್ಥ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಂಗಾಭವಾನಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಪೂಜಮ್ಮದೇವಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಮೆರವಳಮ್ಮ ದೇವಿಯ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
ಸಿದ್ಧಾರ್ಥ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪೂಜೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೂವಿನ ಅಲಂಕಾರ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ತೀರ್ಥ ಪ್ರಸಾದದ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ನಂತರ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಾರ್ಥ ನಗರದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತೆರಳಿ ಪೂಜೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಪೂಜಮ್ಮದೇವಿಯ ಹೂವಿನ ಕರಗ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯಲಾಯಿತು.
ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಭಕ್ತರು ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ದೇವರ ದರ್ಶನ ಪಡೆದರು. ಶ್ರೀ ಪೂಜಮ್ಮದೇವಿ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ನ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ಶ್ರೀ ಗಂಗಾಭವಾನಿ ದೇವಿಯ ಭಕ್ತರು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಆದಿಶಕ್ತಿ ಮಳ್ಳೂರಾಂಭ ದೇವಿಯ ಜಯಂತೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿತ್ತು.

Marking the last Tuesday of Ashada month, a grand procession of goddesses Sri Gangabhavani, Sri Poojammadevi, and Sri Meravalamma was held at Siddhartha Nagar in the city on Tuesday. Special prayers and religious rituals were performed at the deities’ shrine, with flower decorations and theertha prasada arranged for devotees. The procession moved through the main streets of Siddhartha Nagar, stopping at homes along the way for prayers. For the first time, an idol of Sri Poojammadevi was decorated and carried in the procession alongside the other deities. Many devotees, including women, took part and sought the deities’ blessings, with office-bearers of the Sri Poojammadevi Trust and devotees of Sri Gangabhavani among those present.
