Sidlaghatta : ಮತದಾನ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ನಾಗರೀಕರ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವಾಗಿ ಮತದಾನ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ತಮ್ಮ ಹಕ್ಕು ಚಲಾಯಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ತಾ.ಪಂ ಇಓ ಜಿ.ಮುನಿರಾಜ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ನಗರದ ರೇಷ್ಮೆಗೂಡು ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮತದಾನ ಕುರಿತು ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ನಾವು ಖಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಮತದಾನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂಬುವ ದೃಢಸಂಕಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ತಪ್ಪದೇ ಮತದಾನ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಮತದಾನ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾ ವಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಭೋಧಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಭಾರತ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಆಯೋಗದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದಂತೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ೨೦೨೩ರ ಮತದಾನವು ಯಾರೂ ಸಹ ಮತದಾನದಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತರಾಗಬಾರದು ಎಂಬ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ 80 ವರ್ಷ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವೃದ್ಧರಿಗೆ, ಹಿರಿಯರಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಶೇಷ ಚೇತನರಿಗೆ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಮತದಾನ ಮಾಡಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ತಪ್ಪದೇ ಮತದಾನ ಮಾಡಿ, ಹಾಗು ತಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಮನೆಯವರಿಗೂ ಸಹ ತಪ್ಪದೇ ಮತದಾನ ಮಾಡಲು ತಿಳಿಸಿ ಎಂದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ರೇಷ್ಮೆ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಸಹಾಯಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಮಣಿವಾಸಗನ್, ತಿಮ್ಮರಾಜು, ನಗರಸಭೆ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಮುರಳಿ, ರೀಲರ್‍ಸ್ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಷನ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಅನ್ಸರ್‌ಖಾನ್ ಮತ್ತಿತರರು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.
TPM EO G. Muniraja Urges Citizens to Vote Compulsorily for Karnataka Assembly Election 2023
Sidlaghatta : TPM EO G. Muniraja emphasized that voting is a crucial duty of every responsible citizen and must be exercised compulsorily. Muniraja, along with other officials, created awareness about voting in the silk market of the city and urged citizens to take the voting pledge with determination to vote without fail.
The Election Commission of India has allowed people above the age of 80, senior citizens, and specially-abled persons to vote from home for the upcoming Karnataka Assembly Election 2023. Muniraja urged everyone to exercise their right to vote and ensure that their family members also vote without fail.
The event was attended by Assistant Director of Silk Department Manivasagan, Thimmaraju, City Council staff Murali, Realtors Association President Ansar Khan, and other officials.
