ಓದು ಬರಹ ಕಲಿಸುವ ನೆಪದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಠಡಿಗೆ ಕರೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು, ಆಕೆಯ ವಿರೋಧದ ನಡುವೆಯೂ ಲೈಂಗಿಕ ಕಿರುಕುಳ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಎಂದು ಬಾಲಕಿ ದೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.
ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಬಾಲಕಿ ಕೊಠಡಿಯಿಂದ ಅಳುತ್ತಾ ಹೊರಬಂದಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿಯೊಬ್ಬರು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರ ವರ್ತನೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾಳೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಬಳಿಕ ಬಾಲಕಿ ನೀಡಿದ ದೂರಿನ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ದಿಬ್ಬೂರಹಳ್ಳಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ POCSO ಕಾಯ್ದೆಯಡಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸದ್ಯ ಸಂತ್ರಸ್ತ ಬಾಲಕಿಗೆ ಬಾಲಕಿಯರ ಬಾಲಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

In English: A case has been registered under the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act against the principal of a residential school under the Dibburahalli police station limits in Sidlaghatta taluk, on a complaint that he sexually harassed a Class 9 student. The girl alleged in her complaint that the principal called her to his room on the pretext of teaching her and harassed her despite her resistance; a teacher who saw her come out of the room crying asked her about it. Dibburahalli police registered the case based on the girl’s complaint, and she has been given shelter at a girls’ children’s home.
