ಶಿಡ್ಲಘಟ್ಟ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿ ಪುಟ್ಟು ಆಂಜಿನಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ಮನೆ ಮನೆಗೂ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಮತಯಾಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ಶಿಡ್ಲಘಟ್ಟ ನಗರದ ಮಯೂರ ವೃತ್ತ, ಶಾಮಣ್ಣ ಬಾವಿ ರಸ್ತೆ, ಕಾಮಾಟಿಗರ ಪೇಟೆ ಸೇರಿ ಹಲವು ಬಡಾವಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಗರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮನೆ ಮನೆಗೂ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ತನಗೆ ಮತ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಪುಟ್ಟು ಆಂಜಿನಪ್ಪ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೂ ಹಾರ ಹಾಕಿ ಆರತಿ ಬೆಳಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ನಂತರ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಪುಟ್ಟು ಆಂಜಿನಪ್ಪ, ನಾನು ನಿಷ್ಠಾವಂತ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತ, ಕಳೆದ ಎಂಟು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಜನರ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
ಟಿಕೇಟ್ ಸಿಗುವ ಭರವಸೆ ನನಗಿತ್ತು. ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‍ನ ಹೈ ಕಮಾಂಡ್‍ ಕೂಡ ನನಗೆ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿತ್ತಾದರೂ, ಕೊನೆಗಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಟಿಕೇಟ್ ನನಗೆ ನೀಡದೆ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಇದರ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಮುಂದಿನ ಮೇ 10ರಂದು ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮತದಾರರು ತೀರ್ಪು ನೀಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ನನಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿ ಎದುರಾಳಿ, ಸ್ವಾಭಿಮಾನವನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಮತದಾರರು ಗೆಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಬದಲಾವಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಪುಟ್ಟು ಆಂಜಿನಪ್ಪನಿಗೆ ಮತ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂಬ ಅಚಲ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ನನಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಆನೂರು ದೇವರಾಜ್, ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಮುಖಂಡರು ಮತಪ್ರಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

Sidlaghatta: In a fervent attempt to secure votes in the upcoming election, independent candidate Puttu Anjinappa embarked on a door-to-door campaign accompanied by his supporters. The campaign covered various areas within the Sidlaghatta town, including Mayura Circle, Shamanna Bavi Road, and Kamatigarapete.
Puttu Anjinappa, known for his emphasis on personal integrity and dedication to public welfare, sought the support of the voters. He firmly believed that the people of Sidlaghatta valued these qualities and would not be swayed by monetary temptations.
As Puttu Anjinappa visited households, he was greeted with warm welcomes, adorned with garlands, and offered aarti, a traditional Hindu ritual. Grateful for the reception, he expressed his gratitude and addressed the gathering.
During his speech, Puttu Anjinappa mentioned his affiliation with the Congress party and highlighted his eight years of service to the people. He shared his disappointment at not receiving the party ticket, despite assurances from the Congress High Command. Instead, the ticket was granted to a trader, a decision that he believed would be reflected in the voters’ verdict on May 10.
