Sidlaghatta : ಶಿಡ್ಲಘಟ್ಟ ನಗರದ ಮತಗಟ್ಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆ ಮಟ್ಟ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೂಲ ಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ತಹಸೀಲ್ದಾರ್ ಎಂ.ಎನ್.ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅವರ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ತಹಸೀಲ್ದಾರ್ ಅವರು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ನಗರಸಭೆ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳಾದ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ, ಶೌಚಾಲಯ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆ, ಇಳಿಜಾರು, ರೇಲಿಂಗ್‌ಗಳು ಮುಂತಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ತಹಶೀಲ್ದಾರ್ ಎಂ.ಎನ್.ಸ್ವಾಮಿ, “ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ನಗರಸಭೆ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಈ ಪರಿಶೀಲನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಅಗತ್ಯ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈಗಲೂ ಕಾಲ ಮಿಂಚಿಲ್ಲ, ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ವರ್ಷ ತುಂಬಿರುವವರು ಮತದಾರರ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಂದಾಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಿದ್ದರೆ, ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ನೋಂದಾವಣೆ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಆದರೆ, ನಗರದ ಕೋಟೆ ವೃತ್ತದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಬಾಲಕರ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಶುಚಿತ್ವ ಹಾಗೂ ಜೇಡರ ಬಲೆ ಆವರಿಸಿರುವ ಶೌಚಾಲಯ ಕಂಡು ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಬೇಸರ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಮತಗಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದಾಗ ಇಂತಹ ಅವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂದರೆ ಸಹಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಕಾರಣರಾದವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದರು.

ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಬಿಆರ್‌ಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ಬಿಆರ್‌ಪಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮತಗಟ್ಟೆಗಳಿಗೆ (ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳು) ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಶೌಚಾಲಯ ಶುಚಿತ್ವವನ್ನು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು.

ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಯೋಜಕ ಇ.ಭಾಸ್ಕರ ಗೌಡ, ಸಂಯೋಜಕ ತ್ಯಾಗರಾಜ್, ಬಿಆರ್‌ಪಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಮುಂಬರುವ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮತದಾರರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ವಾತಾವರಣ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲು ಎಲ್ಲ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

Sidlaghatta : Tehsildar BN Swamy conducted an inspection of polling booths in Sidlaghatta town on Tuesday to assess the level of cleanliness and basic facilities provided. The tehsildar, accompanied by field education officers and municipal council staff, checked for necessary amenities like electricity facility, toilet cleanliness, ramps, railings, etc.

During his visit, Tehsildar M.N. Swami emphasized the importance of voter registration for those who have turned eighteen. He urged those who are not registered in the voter list to do so immediately.

However, Swamy expressed his disappointment after discovering unclean and cobweb-covered toilets in the government boys’ school located in the Kote circle of the city. He warned that any such disorderly conduct will not be tolerated when senior officials visit the polling booths, and necessary action will be taken against those responsible.

District Education Officer Narendra Kumar also directed BRC and BRP officials of the Education Department to visit all polling booths (government schools) and ensure proper toilet cleanliness.

The inspection was attended by Education Coordinator E. Bhaskara Gowda, Coordinator Thyagaraj, and BRP officials. The authorities have assured the public that all necessary steps will be taken to provide a clean and safe environment for voters during the upcoming elections.
