Sidlaghatta : ವಚನಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಅಸಮಾನತೆಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಸಮರ ಸಾರಿದ ಜಗಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಬಸವೇಶ್ವರರು ಈ ನಾಡು ಕಂಡ ಮಹಾನ್ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಕಾರಿ, ಮಾನವತಾವಾದಿ, ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸಿದವರು ಎಂದು ನಗರಸಭೆ ಪೌರಾಯುಕ್ತ ಶ್ರೀಕಾಂತ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಶಿಡ್ಲಘಟ್ಟ ನಗರಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾನುವಾರ ಆಚರಿಸಿದ ಬಸವೇಶ್ವರ ಜಯಂತ್ಯುತ್ಸವದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

ಮನುಜ ಜಾತಿ ಒಂದೇ ಎಂಬುವುದನ್ನು ಸಾರುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಹೊಸ ಬೆಳಕು ನೀಡಿದ ಬಸವಣ್ಣನವರ ಆದರ್ಶ ಸಮಾಜದ ಕಲ್ಪನೆ ಅದ್ಭುತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಸರ್ವರು ಸಮಾನರು ಎಂಬ ಧ್ಯೇಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಸಮಾನತೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಬದುಕಿನ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾನವತಾವದಿ ಬಸವಣ್ಣನವರು ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಬಸವಣ್ಣನವರ ಆದರ್ಶ ವಿಚಾರಧಾರೆಗಳ ಪಾಲನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರು ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಶೋಷಿತರ ಧ್ವನಿಯಾಗುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಶಕೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದರು.ಅನುಭವ ಮಂಟಪದ ಮೂಲಕ ಹೊಸ ದಿಕ್ಕನ್ನು ನಾಗರಿಕ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ ದಾರ್ಶನಿಕ ಬಸವಣ್ಣನವರು ಎಂದರು.

ಬಸವೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪೂಜೆ :

ನಗರದ ಅರಳೇಪೇಟೆಯ ಬಸವೇಶ್ವರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಸವೇಶ್ವರ ಜಯಂತ್ಯುತ್ಸವದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ರುದ್ರಾಭಿಷೇಕ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ತಂಬಿಟ್ಟು ದೀಪಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಿ ಪೂಜೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಮಹಾಮಂಗಳಾರತಿಯ ನಂತರ ಪಾನಕ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಸರುಬೇಳೆ ಕೋಸಂಬರಿಯನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ನಗರಸಭೆ ಪೌರಾಯುಕ್ತ ಶ್ರೀಕಾಂತ್, ನಗರಸಭೆ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಬಸವೇಶ್ವರ ಸೇವಾ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಬಿ.ಸಿ.ನಂದೀಶ್‌ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.

Municipal Commissioner Praises Jagajyoti Basaveshwar for Advocating Equality and Women’s Freedom

Sidlaghatta : Municipal Commissioner Srikanth praised Jagajyoti Basaveshwar as the greatest revolutionary, humanist, and advocate of women’s freedom that the country has ever seen. He made these comments at the Basava Jayanti program, which took place on Sunday at the Shidlaghatta Municipal Council.

According to Srikanth, Basaveshwar’s vision of an ideal society, which emphasized the equality of all people, regardless of their caste, was a remarkable achievement. He also highlighted Basaveshwar’s contributions to creating awareness about inequality and advocating for humane values.

Srikanth emphasized the importance of following Basaveshwar’s ideals in our own lives and adopting humane values. He also praised Basaveshwar for starting a new movement in society by becoming the voice of the oppressed and giving a new direction to civil society through Anubhava Mantapa.

To celebrate Basaveshwara Jayantyutsava, a special pooja was organized at the Basaveshwara Swamy Temple in Aralepet, where women ate and lit lamps and performed puja. After the Mahamangalarathi, Panaka and Hesarubele Kosambari were distributed. Municipal Commissioner Srikanth, Municipal Staff, and Sri Basaveshwara Seva Trust President BC Nandish were present.
