“ಬ್ರೋಕೊಲಿ” ಬೆಳೆಯ ನಡುವೆ ರೈತ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಪಾಠಶಾಲೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ

Appegowdanahalli, Sidlaghatta : ರೈತರು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞರಂತೆ, ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಂತೆ, ಪರಿಸರ ತಜ್ಞರಂತೆ ಚಿಂತನೆ ನಡೆಸಬೇಕು. ರೈತರುತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆದು ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ವಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃಷಿ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಲಾಭಗಳಿಸಿ ನಷ್ಟ ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟಬಹುದೆಂದು ಆತ್ಮ ಯೋಜನೆ ಉಪನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಸತೀಶ್‌ಕುಮಾರ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು

ಶಿಡ್ಲಘಟ್ಟ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಅಪ್ಪೇಗೌಡನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃಷಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ರೈತ ತ್ಯಾಗರಾಜ್ ಅವರು ಬೆಳೆದ “ಬ್ರೋಕೊಲಿ” ಬೆಳೆಯ ನಡುವೆ ರೈತ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಪಾಠಶಾಲೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

ಹವಾಮಾನ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಆಗುವ ವಿಪತ್ತುಗಳಿಂದ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಮಹತ್ವಾಕಾಂಕ್ಷೆಯ ‘ಮಿಷನ್‌ ಲೈಫ್’ ಅಭಿಯಾನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಂತ್ರಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃಷಿ ಜಂಟಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕಿ ಜಾವೀದಾ ನಸೀಮಾ ಖಾನಂ ಅವರು ರೈತ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಪಾಠಶಾಲೆಯನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅದರಂತೆ ನಾವು ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ಬೆಳೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆದು ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ರೈತರ ತೋಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರೈತ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಪಾಠಶಾಲೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದರು.

ಕೃಷಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸದೃಢವಾಗಬೇಕಾದರೆ ರೈತರು ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಕೃಷಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸುವ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ, ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ವಿಧಾನವನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇದೆ. ರೈತರು ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದೇ ಬೆಳೆಗೆ ಜೋತುಬೀಳದೆ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಕೃಷಿ ಬೆಳೆ ಪದ್ಧತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಬೆಳೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆದರೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ರೈತ ತ್ಯಾಗರಾಜ್‌ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಬ್ರೋಕೊಲಿ ಹಸಿರು ಹೂಕೋಸೆಂದು ಹೇಳಬಹುದು. ಇದು ವಿಟಮಿನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಿನರಲ್‍ಗಳ ಅತ್ಯದ್ಭುತ ಖಜಾನೆಯೆಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವ ತರಕಾರಿ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕ ಫೈಬರ್ ಕೂಡ ಇದೆ. ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕೆ , ನಮ್ಮ ಆಹಾರ ಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಸಿರು ಸೊಪ್ಪು ತರಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಬಹಳ ಮುಖ್ಯ. ಅಂತಹ ಹಸಿರು ಸೊಪ್ಪು ತರಕಾರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರೋಕೊಲಿ ಕೂಡ ಒಂದು. ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ನಗರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬಾ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಇದೆ. ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸದೆಯೇ ಬೆಳೆದಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬೆಲೆ ನೀದಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.

ಆತ್ಮಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕು ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಅಶ್ವತ್ಥನಾರಾಯಣ, ರೈತರಾದ ಮುನೀಂದ್ರ, ಹನುಮಂತರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ನಾಗೇಶ್, ಶೇಖರ್, ಹರೀಶ್, ನಾರಾಯಣಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್, ಅಂಬರೀಶ್ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.


Farmer’s Field Learning Program in Appegowdanahalli

Appegowdanahalli, Sidlaghatta : At a farmer’s field learning program in Appegowdanahalli, Sidlaghatta Taluk, Satish Kumar, Deputy Director of Self Planning, emphasized the importance of farmers adopting a technology and scientific approach to agriculture. Javida Naseema Khanam, Joint Director of Agriculture, organized the program in the wake of the Mission Life Campaign, which aims to protect the land from climate change.

During the program, Farmer Tyagaraj shared his insights on the benefits of growing various crops in a comprehensive farming crop instead of just a single crop. He highlighted the demand for broccoli in cities due to its reputation as a healthy and chemical-free vegetable that is high in vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Tyagaraj’s emphasis on growing diverse crops is in line with the scientific and environmental perspective that Kumar advocated for.

Ashwathanarayana, Technical Manager of the Atma Project, Munindra, and several other experts were present at the program to share their knowledge and insights with the attending farmers. Overall, the program aimed to equip farmers with the necessary knowledge and tools to become economically strong in agriculture while also protecting the environment.
